  • Full immersion in the culture and traditions of the country
    We'll meet the ancient Vedda tribe, take a tour of the Botanical Garden, and enjoy an Ayurvedic village where we'll learn how to cook healthy Ayurvedic vegetarian dishes. We'll also see a traditional Sri Lankan dance show, visit tea plantations, a valley of waterfalls, and several ancient Buddhist temples.

  • Encounter with whales in the Indian Ocean!
    Sri Lanka is home to 26 species of cetaceans: blue whales, humpbacks, sei whales, falcons, minke whales, and several species of sperm whales and killer whales. We'll also have the opportunity to see a large pod of hundreds or even thousands of dolphins and large sea turtles.

Day 1
Group meeting in Colombo transfer to Kandy, hotel check-in, and rest. (location and time will be determined based on your arrival time)

It is recommended to arrive no later than the first day of the program in Colombo.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel, then an early morning departure to Ambuluwawe Tower to watch the sunrise near the Temple of the Four Religions.
Next stop:

  • Tea plantations where we'll taste real Ceylon tea
  • The Botanical Garden where Yuri Gagarin planted a tree with his own hands
  • Temple of the Tooth Relic
  • Bahiravakande Monastery
  • In the evening, take a stroll through Kandy at night and, if you wish, you can also attend a traditional dance show with a fire show.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel.
Program with the primitive Vedda tribe:
  • Ritual dances,

Transfer to Sigiriya, dinner and overnight stay

Climb to Sigiriya.
  • Visit to the elephant orphanage, swimming in the lake and elephant riding (optional).

  • A culinary master class (making flatbread from freshly picked coconuts and the ritual grain crop, kurrakan)
